Have worked, and continue to work, all modes - SSB, Satellite and Digital, HF, VHF and UHF, 2.4 GHz for satellite work.

Several homebrew projects including a 1KW HF linear amplifier from junk parts, numerous HF, UHF and VHF antenna projects including crossed yagis for VHF and UHF with polarization switching for satellite work

Presently working with UNDP and the Tamil Nadu State Government in setting up an Early Warning System, which will also include ham radio, digital and voice, as one of the communication links.

Have been on the Governing Council of ARSI for several years and since 2005 its President. Director IARU Region 3 since August 2006

Involved in organizing the Seanet conferences in Chennai and Bangalore and the IARU conference in Bangalore in 2006
