I have been active on the h.f bands sine May 1995 and love every bit about amateur radio,specially cqww the contest is
my all time favorite. I am active on all the bands from 160-
thru 6 meters on SSB,CW,RTTY,PACTOR, AMTOR and shortly
also on SSTV. I have been active with callsigns vu2pai/c,at2pai,at0pai,vu2pai/50,at4hqc,at0ai,w1/vu2pai,
w6/vu2pai.

I am 33 years old and my other hobbies include travelling, stamp collecting(philatelyand also mint ,used, First day covers,and stamps on envelopes, I will be happy to send any Indian stamps if anybody is interested!let me know) ,eye-balling,music, computers, I am also a big fan of Pink Floyd,jeth ro tull,rasmus,Rush,Eagles,Beatles,Don Henly,Grateful Dead ,zz top,Robbie Williams,Oasis,Tom Petty,Led Zepplin,bon jovi,linkin park and other bands and I enjoy music a lot hi!

My new passion these days is Golf and if u dont hear me often on the air its because i am doing some putting or driving practice! I am a die hard dx-erand have worked about 310 dxcc countries so far,the happiest moment in my 5 years of dxing was working D68C on 160 mtrs!and the year 2000-2001 is the first time i have been active on 160 meters.
I am a member and the President of Mangalore Amateur Radio Club (MARC) and also have been on the Governing council of ARSI, and our club is a very active club and we meet every month on the second sunday at Mohini Vilas 1st floor(visiting Hams/Swl's are welcome to join us).We from the "VUIOTA" group have activated the IOTA group AS-96 in May 2001 and a brand new island the Sacrifice Rock AS-161 in January 2002 which is a part of the Kerala State group.Just activated IOTA AS169 Arnala island off the coast of Mumbai. I am also a part of the team logging over 3000 qso's myself from the 2 islands. Was also a member on the Arnala Island expedition in March-April 2006.

I have continusoly won the CQWW contests averaging about 2000 to 3000 QSO'S in each contest during the years 1995 -2001 on both CW AND SSB modes.My callsign is displayed in the CQWW world wide website www.cqww.com as the winner in Zone 22 all time highest scores for both CW AND SSB.

My staion consists of KENWOOD TS 2000, KENWOOD TS 850 SAT, Icom 745, Icom 706 mk 2 g, Kenwood th 235 ah, aea pk 900 digital modem, Cuschcraft A4S ( with 40 meter kit) ,Cushcraft MA5B, cushcraft R7, and dipoles on 80-40 and Inverted L on 160 meters. I have also about 80 countries confirmed on 160 meters including U.S.A and Canada.

I am a qrq cw operator proficient in Pile ups and split operations and very fast on the keyboards for computer logging. I use the CT logger by K1EA.
