The Amateur Radio Society of India (ARSI) is a non-profit public service organization, and is registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act.
ARSI is the national association for Amateur Radio Operators in India. ARSI is recognized internationally for representing Indian Amateur Radio activities in international fora.
The past president of ARSI VU2RCR R Ramachandra had the distinction of being the first Indian radio amateur to be elected a director of the International Amateur Radio Union Region3.
Since then VU2GMN Gopal Madhavan has been a director of IARU Region 3 and was reelected for a second term in New Zealand general conference of Region 3. Each term is for three years.

The society has a growing membership from all over India and several amateurs from other countries are also members.
